Learn the Coupon Lingo.
ECBs- Extra Care Bucks is what you earn at CVS by buying certain product. They can be used just like cash on any item in the store. They will print on the end of your receipt, don’t throw away.
RRs- Register Rewards are what you earn at Walgreens. They are different than ECBs at CVS they print out of Catalina’s on there own coupons.
SS- Smart Source ( news paper coupon inserts)
RP- Red plum (news paper coupon inserts)
BOGO or B1G1- Buy one get one free.
OOP- Out of pocket ( the amount you paid minus the coupons and store savings)
Blinkie- A coupon found in grocery stores that spits out a coupon from a machine.
Peelie- A sticker coupons located on the package.
Fillers- A inexpensive item used at CVS or Walgreens, you need more items than coupons. Fillers are used to achieve these goals.
WYB- When you buy.
MIR - Mail in rebate
